I suffer fr...Jackie, you could be talking about me. I suffer from the same anxiety when painting something more precise! I don't want to do it! How can we do it! I totally understand the mark-making issue. <br /><br />I think, imho, it is about more thinking before placing the stroke. And, knowing exactly the value, temperature, and color wanted (within reason). I am planning to practice with still life ... have been thinking about this for several months.
